Tutorial: a marine rope bracelet

Myzotte is an illustrator, graphic designer, and incidentally a mother of three (soon to be four) children. On her blog, she shares DIY smart, moments of life and inspirations. Today, we find it for a super tutorial, a marine gift bracelet perfect for Mother's Day.

Equipment

You will need: - news: 739827 wool, net mesh (openwork wool), or failing this a thick cotton thread (jute style) - crazy plastic - scissors - colored pencils or alcohol markers - a candle - golden wire - a large wooden bead

Steps

1. Print the template for the marine shapes and trace them onto crazy plastic. 2. Color the plastic pieces. Also plan the holes (hollow out with scissors or with the help of a hole punch). 3. Cook (normally about 3 to 6 minutes depending on the oven, preheated to 175 °). 4. Cut a strip of woolen mesh about 25 cm. 5. Attach the crazy plastic charms with the wire. You will have to twist the wire to fix them firmly in the news mesh: 739827 wool. 6. At the end, thread the bead and block it. To do this, you can wax both ends with a candle - exactly the same technique as when you restore frayed laces. (Attention, this instruction must be done by an adult). 7. Attach the bracelet to the wrist and pass the pearl through a mesh of the net to stretch and keep the bracelet closed.

Finally

And There you go ! A beautiful homemade sailor bracelet!
